Untitled Document Simulate a "could have been" outcome (to see what could have happened if everyone had just flipped a coin to make their choice):
  • Set the Number of Tosses to %n .
  • Press the Draw Samples button. Note the number of heads in this set of tosses.

    • (c) How many heads did you get in your first repetition?

  • Uncheck the Animate box and click the Draw Samples button again.

    • (d) Did you get the same number of heads the second time?

    (e) If we repeat this process many more times, will we always get this same number of heads? Explain.

     
  • Click Draw Samples 8 more times, watching how the number of heads changes from trial to trial.
